Resident of the village of Yaroslavsky (Primorsky region od Russia). Worked as a dispatcher of the unified duty dispatch service. On 16 May 2022, Andreev's house was searched and he was taken into custody on charges of organising activities of an extremist organisation due to his involvement with the Jehovah's Witnesses community. Representatives of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely for religious activities: meetings, joint worship services, attracting new supporters. Due to the long detention in the pre-trial detention centre and lack of full-fledged physical activity, Andreev found it difficult to perform the simplest actions, started having heart problems and dizziness. He was also diagnosed with a pre-cancerous condition and needs to be regularly monitored by specialists. On 10 July 2024 Andreev was sentenced to six years in a general regime colony.
