Resident of Sakhalin Oblast. On 3 April 2024, he was searched at his home and then taken for questioning in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, where he was charged with participation and recruitment in the activity of an extremist organisation due to his involvement in the Jehovah's Witnesses community. Members of this community are prosecuted under as extremists solely for religious activities: meetings, communal prayers, and recruiting new followers. On 28 February 2025, Daler was sentenced to six years in a general regime colony.
