Evgenia Maiboroda
A resident of the city of Shakhty (Rostov region). A case was brought against her for "fake facts" about the Armed Forces and calls for extremism. In January 2023, it became known that Mayboroda [was fined](https://www.24liveblog.com/live/Usumo?n=3226486365748311999) 40 thousand rubles (510 US$) under the article of the Code of Administrative Offences on discrediting the army (part 1 of article 20.3.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). The court ruling [follows](https://shahtinsky--ros.sudrf.ru/modules.php?name=sud_delo&srv_num=1&name_op=doc&number=145975796&delo_id=1500001&new=0&text_number=1) that the reason was in publications criticising the war on her personal page on "VKontakte". As part of the criminal case, Maiboroda was restrained in the form of a ban on certain actions. On 29 January 2024, she was sentenced to five and a half years in a general regime colony.
