Journalist, resident of Tomsk. On September 8, 2021, he was charged with participation in the activities of an extremist community in connection with the Left Resistance community. In addition, another case against him was opened in relation to the What-To-Do! (Chto-delat!) Telegram channel. In September 2021, Igor was sent to a pre-trial detention centre. The journalist said that during his time in custody he developed diabetes and obesity, and his high blood pressure problems worsened. On 20 March 2024, Kuznetsov was given a three-year suspended sentence in the case of his involvement in Left Resistance. In the case of the What-To-Do! Telegram channel on April 5, 2024, Kuznetsov was sentenced to six years in a general regime colony.
