Resident of Simferopol, philologist-arabist. Detained on 7 July 2020 and taken into custody the next day on charges of organising activities of a terrorist organisation. Also accused of preparing for a violent change of power. The reason for the prosecution was the alleged involvement in the Islamic party "Hizb ut-Tahrir". Human rights activists believe that the banning of this party as a terrorist organisation had no grounds. However, this decision gave a reason to prosecute hundreds of people in the Russian Federation and Crimea as terrorists solely on the basis of party activities: meetings, study of literature, involvement of new supporters. On 8 July 2022, Ibragimov was sentenced to 19 years in a strict regime colony.
