Verdict

Resident of Novorossiysk. On 1 November 2023, he was detained and taken into custody the following day on charges of participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation. A case has also been opened for discrediting the Armed Forces and public justification of terrorism. According to the law enforcers' version, Artamonov tried to join the "Freedom of Russia" legion: he filled out a questionnaire, wrote the text of the oath and sent them to a representative of the association. In August, he was detained on a train on his way to Belgorod Region. On 23 September 2025, the court sentenced him to nine years in prison, of which he must spend the first four years in prison and the remaining time in a high-security colony.
