Verdict

A resident of Surgut, participated in the activities of the anarchist library created by Nikita Oleinik. He and four other young men were charged with participation in a terrorist community and planning terrorist attacks and taken into custody. Reportedly confessed under torture. Roman was transferred to another detention centre, separate from the others - the support group does not rule out that this was done to exert pressure. Paklin stated that his health deteriorated badly in the pre-trial detention centre. In 2023, Paklin's case was singled out for separate proceedings, and he was ordered to undergo psychiatric treatment. In April 2024, Paklin's case was suspended, but in November it became known that the prosecution had resumed.
