It contains birthdays and faces of seriously ill Russian political prisoners.The Russian government has deprived them of their freedom and is consistently depriving them of the last of their health.We deliberately tried to create the maximum feeling of discomfort, anxiety and insecurity for everyone who picks up the calendar: the faces of prisoners against the background of cold, soulless abstract compositions, barely noticeable strokes-marks of days in prison, bloody smudges and loops - all these are visual "signals of pain".We want everyone who opens this calendar to get burned and feel: these are not just calendar dates - these are Human Lives.
