Volunteers from the #free120 team, together with OVD-Info, are working to update the list of sick political prisoners, contacting them through letters, their relatives, support groups, and lawyers. Our list currently includes 138 political prisoners with updated diagnoses and prison addresses.
Collecting information about the situation of sick political prisoners is just the beginning.
To implement our plans, we now need your support to take the next important steps within Russia —steps to release sick political prisoners based on their illnesses, efforts to organize medical examinations, referrals for doctors and medications, and funding for travel by defense attorneys and lawyers to prisons. These efforts, which involve human rights organizations, require financial outlays.
